- 100% Palo Santo Essential Oil is an extract from the wood of the Bursera Graveolens tree. The oil is extracted by steam distillation method. The steam runs through the wood and carries with it the volatile aromatic constituents of the wood. The final product of distillation is the hydrolate and the 100% essential oil. The oil is separated from the hydrolate by a separator.
